Mr. Thabet was admitted to the Board of Directors in 2006.

He is currently Chief Executive Officer at Juhayna, and previously worked as Operations and Human Resources Director.

Thabet began his career at Juhayna in 2004, holding a number of managerial positions, including Sales and Marketing Manager and Project Manager. He also previously worked at the German Dairy Company; Müller which contributed to his appointment as Manager of El Dawleya (Juhayna’s Juice Factory).

He currently holds the position of Vice President of the Chamber of Food Industries and former Treasurer at the Food Export Council in 2016. Furthermore, in 2016, Thabet was appointed as CEO and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Previously handled marketing and communication projects for the company since 2001.

Mohamed Sultan was appointed as Managing Director and Executive Board Member of Juhayna Group since February 2024.

Sultan has been serving as the Chief Operating Officer of the Commercial International Bank “CIB” since February 2015. He joined the CIB in 2008, assuming several senior management positions in the bank till September 2023.

Sultan led some of the bank’s most strategic transformational programs adding significant value to the existing technology, enhancing the bank’s infrastructure, and introducing digital banking with the aim of providing superior services to the bank’s customers and allowing the business to grow smoothly while maintaining its role as a market leader.

Prior to joining CIB, Mr. Sultan held the positions of Vice President of Branches Operations and Control Management at Mashreq Bank and Country Operations Head at National Bank of Oman.

Mohamed Sultan was appointed to Telecom Egypt’s board as an independent board member in March 2019. And, also as an independent board member in Egytrans since 2022.

Sultan is also one of the experts for financial restructuring in the Egyptian Economic court since May 2024.

Sultan graduated from the Faculty of Commerce, Cairo University in 1995. He has attended several leadership programs in top business schools and is also an alumnus of INSEAD Business School.

Mr. Khaled Gamal joined Juhayna’s Board of Directors as a non-executive, independent member in May 2023.

Mr. Gamal has a distinguished career in financial advisory, having spent more than 20 years with EFG-Hermes.

During his tenure with the investment bank, he served as a member of the Executive Committee in Egypt and later assumed the role of CEO of EFG-Hermes in Saudi Arabia and the GCC for more than 5 years.

Mr. Gamal went on to found Zilla Capital and serves as the investment services firm’s founding partner and managing director.

Mr. Montasser joined Juhayna in November 2023 bringing over 36 years of experience in consulting, auditing, and taxations fields to the company, and over 22 years in key leadership roles.

Prior to assuming this role at Juhayna, Mr. Montasser served as the CEO of KPMG Egypt for six years, before which he was Managing Partner for KPMG Egypt’s Alexandria branch for 15 years.

Mr. Montasser also founded C-Consultant, an expert governance consultation services to Chairpersons, Executives, Board members and Family-Ownes businesses.
