Initially established in 1998, Juhayna’s El Marwa factory has been upgraded and modernized so that today it features the most globally advanced technologies in manufacturing.

The factory specializes in the treatment of fruits to produce fruit concentrates and pulps that are used for both internal and domestic consumption, as well as exports. Fruits handled at the factory include mango, guava, strawberry, peach, apricot, apple and concentrated carrot — all processed using the highest quality control systems.

The plant is semi-automated and employs 130 workers, technicians, engineers and administrative staff members in collaboration with the Modern Concentrates Factory.

In 2007 the El Marwa Factory received the HACCP certification, the SGF certificate from IRMA, the EU supplier certification, as well as other certificates including OHSAS-18001/2009 and ISO-22000/2011. The plant has submitted an application for the FSSC certificate and acquired the SEDEX membership in 2012 based on the advanced systems used by staff

Juhayna founded the Modern Concentrates Factory in 2007 to produce and package citrus concentrates such as lemon and orange. The plant is semi-automated and employs 130 workers, technicians, engineers, and administrative staff members in collaboration with the El Marwa factory.

In addition to supplying Juhayna’s El Dawleya juice factory, Modern Concentrates is the supplier of choice for a number of local and global companies. The plant is committed to adopting the best environmental practices in order to reduce its impact on Egypt’s fragile environment.
