Juhayna issues the second edition of its sustainability report, reconsolidating its commitment to the environment and society through adopted sustainability practices.
Cairo, Egypt – the 17th of May, 2021: Juhayna has recently issued the second edition of its sustainability report for the fourth consecutive year, titled “Gaining Pace, Driving Progress”. The report documents the sustainable development of the company from 2019-2020.
The aim of the report is to showcase Juhayna’s achievements and commitment to sustainability during the aforementioned period. Not only does the report address the company’s operational development, but also it concurrently evaluates its environmental sustainability and societal progress.
The report outlines Juhayna’s growth and success in improving its sustainability practices by raising its operations’ efficiency, honouring its reputation as a responsible investor, and providing a variety of healthy products that enhance and enrich the lives of the consumers and community members; seeking a healthier and a better tomorrow.
It also represents the impact of Juhayna’s developmental practices in creating shared value, in addition to the main challenges and achievements of its sustainability strategy which aims to integrate the company’s environmental and social practices into all its operational activities.

Since Juhayna’s accession to the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), the company has aligned its main and key activities with the ten of its principles. Those of human rights, employment, the environment, and anti-corruption.
Simultaneously, the company closely follows 17 United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, thus strengthening its commitment to the global sustainability guidelines, and seeking to benchmark its practices against top-level international practices that drive social and environmental change.
